tomorrow will be the graduation ceremony -- the last day of six years of primary school education. looking back, i see all the friends, the teachers, the lessons -- all the memories, they lie before me, and i cannot believe that next year (maybe even in two days) that i will never see any of my classmates again, especially the female ones and the ones that I don't know well. It's a disturbing thought, frankly speaking.

All I have are three pieces of envelope with autographs on them to remind me of them. Insignificant indeed.

On a lighter note, my blogskin should be ready soon! Creds to Fiona and Ariel.

Changing your PC to a Mac. (Two Ways Included)

Hi guys! Seen my previous post? I showed you the effects of changing your PC to a (lookalike) Mac. Now, I shall tell you how to!

There are two ways: the Free N' Easy Noobcake way, and the Damn Hard Waste Time Professional D.I.Y way. I personally used the DHWTPD.I.Y way.

First I will explain the Free N' Easy NoobCake way. This takes three steps, and does not have as many features as the Damn Hard Waste Time Professional D.I.Y way.

1. Google Search "Flyakite OSX"
2.Download and install
3. Restart computer

That's it! For all of you mentally retarded
lazy
people who don't like to waste time, this is for you!

2. The Damn Hard Waste Time Professional D.I.Y. Way (TRY TYPING THIS FIVE TIMES, DAMMNIT)

This takes a lot of steps, but it gives you that (feeling), that (vibe), and is more convincing too!
0
1. Search for a dock program (ObjectDock) and install it.
2. Search for StyleXP and download and install it. Choose style Milk (have to download separately)
3.Search for RainLender, download and install.
4.Search for ObjectBar, download and install.
5. Search for Trillian, download and install. Use a suitable Mac skin. Failing that, or if you use MSN Messenger, download Messenger PLUS and search for a good Mac skin.
6.Download iTunes for Windows and install it.
7.Download Safari 3.1 for Windows (4.1 if you can get access to that) and install it.
8. The finishing touch - get an OSX boot screen and login screen.
9. The the finishing finishing touch - get an OSX wallpaper. (There are two, choose one)
10.Restart your computer.

Notice that I grouped installing and downloading together, to make it look simpler.

That's all, folks!

P.S. I just changed skins! Do you like it? Tell me in the CBOX, or take the Nuffnang poll (the new one)

Hi guys!
Today, I will not be posting about Part 2 of the previous post, nor elaborating on my new fishes (check the Twitterbox). I will be posting about something completely different!

Today, I felt extremely fed up about my computer. It looked lame and boring. Hence, with the help of http://features.engadget.com/2004/06/09/turn-your-pc-into-a-mac/ this website, I managed to turn my Windows XP Computer (which looks something like yours if you use windows XP) into something really nice. Watch.

Now, doesn't that just look cool?

(Note: If you had read my twitter post, you find that I don't like Macs. I don't like Macs not because they don't look cool, but because they're slow and expensive and the lack of hardware).

Yesterday was the BBQ Under-the-stars and Sleepover.

This is Part 1 of 2. (Prelude and Build-up)

After the Rehearsal for Graduation Ceremony, I, Fiona, Ariel and Etsuko had to go to the Music Room to do yet another rehearsal. After that, Ariel had to go to debate, but she forgot her water bottle and book. Etsuko had to go home. That left me and Fiona. After saying goodbye to our drumming teacher, (Miss) Emma, we went down with Ms. Mavis Tan. Fiona bought chicken rice; Ms. Mavis Tan bought chicken and duck rice and I bought an avocado milkshake.

(Forgive the rambling)

After eating(and drinking), Fiona and I went up to the classroom to entertain ourselves for the rest of the duration (until 17 30, that makes about three hours). We had three hours to kill. So, we played taiti (Instructions on how to play on another blog post) and Randy came in. Apparently he was staying until 17 30 and then staying overnight too. Oh what a surprise. Daniel Chin was too; we played taiti until Kenneth and Cleven came in and Cleven brought his basketball. Jaron then came in and brought Cleven, Kenneth, Xin Jie and Randy down to play soccer...( I think D.C. went too, but I cannot be too sure.)

That left me and Fiona alone again. We amused ourselves by playing with the basketball Cleven brought, and also "borrowed" Pei Fang's Monopoly(TM) set to play with. (I almost won.) Randy chose that moment to come in, and proceeded to tell me that I would lose because I had too much property and too little money, which i found completely illogical. (Fun Fact: I bought Vine Street for $1 because Fiona didn't want to auction). Cleven and Xin Jie and D.C. would come later.

After a few more rounds of moving the little counters clockwise around the green board, a member of the school staff came in and promptly proceeded to lock the door. A few questions later, we surmised that we were not supposed to sleep in our respective classrooms, but instead in the hall! Pei Fang was not back yet, so we had to bring her bag down ( she was also staying for the night). We had an informal assembly (meaning no one told us to sit there) at the courtyard, then we were told to proceed to the hall. We had the Teachers - Students match of Captain's Ball and soccer while waiting for the food to be readied. The captain's ball match was deeply disappointing, with the teachers winning 8- 3 or something. Xuan Li was really the star player (you can find her blog at http://catlover261.blogspot.com) because she was the goalee and she was really good at blocking Mrs. Chan at getting the ball. Overall, I thought the females played commendably, although even after repeated examples (not explictly depicted, of course) they still didn't learn to block the opponent when they throw the ball. The soccer match was much better, with the boys winning 1/2 - 0 (cannot remember). I was the commentator for the soccer match, and I sucked. ( I never watched soccer games), after which returning back to my floor-seat I was bombarded with extremely sarcastic comments and sniggers.

But enough of that. Anyway, after the two games, we were allowed to go back to the courtyard and start eating!

...... To be continued in Part II

MUSIC PRACTICE (and everything before it)

Introducing..... THE TRACK BUILDERS TEAM!

We pride ourselves on building racecar tracks with only UNO Cards! Our tracks range from easy (one loop, four turns) to fiendishly difficult (many loops, many turns!) tracks. Our members are:

Zheng Hong -- Artistic Director/ Aesthetics Manager
Pethuel Ho -- Chief Tester/ President
Chong You, Andrew Chia -- Builders
Gui An -- Fiendishly difficult track specialist/Builder

We are not recruiting, sorry! =)

Anyway, we build(t) lots of tracks and tested and played all of them out at the back of the class.

I learned a lot about placement and psychological pleasure, all of them trade secrets (shh).

Anyway, after the lesson, I went to play soccer (injured 3 of my toes, ouch) and then proceeded to the Music Room to practice the playing of the pieces Viva La Vida and Hold On. (I honestly think that Hold On is easier to play the bass) [ I'm in charge of the big base drum and another drum which i cannot remember the name). Wei Sheng needed to work on his tempo, I needed to work on the drumbeat and Ariel suffered from fatigue problems. Fiona was kinda.... sorta... soft, but she was good.

Half through the practice, two teachers came in to listen! One went away, but another stayed with us and even gave us tips for the playing of the pieces.

Yeah that's about it for today, good-bye

A typical Sunday

This shall be a post composed almost entirely of pictures.

If you don't like blog posts with pictures, just comment on my tagboard/Cbox.

This is an innovative new method of posting! I shall call it PICTORYPOST(TM)

It's a beautiful Sunday Morning, and the weather is fine.

Flowers and trees everywhere! What a beautiful morning.

And our dedicated crew of actors begins the day!

The most senior male member of the family is watching T.V. (Pheonix Channel).

And the two grandmothers and a domestic helper are assisting with brunch!

The mother has just woken up - seems hostile. Let us move on to somebody else!

The sister is doing her homework;

the brother is slacking off;

and the father is nowhere to be seen! (he's taking the photos)

Will post when I upload more pictures. Bye!
